Dr. Trey Miller, DDS, FAGD, LVIF serves patients across the
Tri-State area of Texas, Oklahoma, and Eastern New Mexico.
Dr. Trey Miller, DDS, FAGD, LVIF is an Amarillo native and owner of Advanced Dentistry of Amarillo, a modern, fully digital dental practice focused on advanced cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, TMJ/TMD therapy, sleep apnea and snoring treatment, Botox, facial esthetics, and complex restorative dentistry.
Dr. Miller built Advanced Dentistry of Amarillo for patients who are ready for serious answers—not rushed dentistry, patchwork treatment, or one-size-fits-all care. His approach combines advanced diagnostics, digital technology, neuromuscular principles, airway-focused evaluation, and high-level cosmetic restorative training to help patients improve how their teeth look, how their bite functions, and how their jaw, muscles, and airway work together.
A proud Panhandle native, Dr. Miller graduated as Valedictorian of his high school class in Bushland before attending Texas Tech University on academic scholarship. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in only three years. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where he trained in advanced dental technology, lasers, digital workflows, restorative dentistry, and comprehensive treatment planning. At graduation, he received the school’s highest award in operative dentistry.
Recognizing that dental school was only the foundation, Dr. Miller pursued extensive post-graduate training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, one of the world’s most recognized institutions for neuromuscular dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, and full mouth reconstruction. He has achieved LVI Fellowship status, reflecting advanced training and clinical commitment in complex restorative, cosmetic, TMJ, and airway-focused dentistry.
Dr. Miller has also completed advanced training at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, a world-renowned dental education and research institution focused on esthetics, implants, occlusion, risk-based treatment planning, and advanced restorative dentistry. He has trained with leaders in airway and oral function, including Dr. Soroush Zaghi and Dr. Gregory Lane, and Advanced Dentistry of Amarillo is a certified Breathe Institute Ambassador practice.
Dr. Miller focuses his practice on porcelain veneers, cosmetic smile makeovers, full mouth rehabilitation, worn teeth, bite reconstruction, TMJ/TMD treatment, jaw pain, clenching-related headaches, sleep apnea oral appliance therapy, snoring treatment, NightLase laser therapy, tongue- and lip-tie release procedures, Botox therapy, and facial esthetic treatment. He has advanced training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in therapeutic and cosmetic Botox, as well as gingival filler techniques for enhanced smile esthetics.
His passion for technology is evident from the first visit. Advanced Dentistry of Amarillo uses CBCT 3D imaging, digital intraoral scanning, 3D jaw tracking, computerized EMG muscle analysis, digital smile design, laser dentistry, and advanced restorative workflows. This technology allows Dr. Miller to diagnose complex cosmetic, bite, TMJ, and airway problems with a level of detail that traditional dental exams often miss.
Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has been named a Texas “Super Dentist” by Texas Monthly magazine. He is past president of the Panhandle District Dental Society, serves on the Texas Dental Association Peer Review Committee, and serves on the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs. He is also active in the local SPEAR Study Club, has taught at the Amarillo College Dental Hygiene Program, and serves on the Amarillo Symphony Board of Directors.
